Concepts
I was also thinking of a hand drawn logo. The only issue was to how it would look on the packaging of a glass jar. Since the stamp logo itself would take a lot of place, it would be very overbearing with the other elements in the packaging. So, the approach was to take the checkered pattern as a base and then go seamlessly with the other elements.

Solution
In India, we have mass jams like Kissan - cheap, industrial etc and on the other hand we have imported European Jams - premium but so disconnected. There’s the gap! Pantry is bigger than jam. The brand can be framed not as a single product but as the start of a curated Italian pantry - room to grow into honey, spreads, antipasti, oils.
The role it’s playing is more of a daily luxury for a fast Indian urban life. For a gen-z or a millennial who wants the things their parents didn’t have, it can be that accessible, design-led entry!
